Men’s Golf Heads to Florida for A-10 Championship

DAVIDSON, N.C. – After a three-week break from tournament play, Davidson returns to action at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Championship April 30 – May 2.

The three-day/54-hole event will be played on the 7,186-yard, Par 72 Reunion Golf Club Nicklaus layout in Kissimmee, Fla.

Davidson will be paired with Dayton and Richmond in the opening round with tee times beginning at 12:30 p.m. off the first tee.

The Wildcats, who captured the 2018 tournament title and finished runner-up the following year, have recorded Top-5 showings in four of their five appearances since joining the league in 2014.

Junior Viraj Garewal leads Davidson this spring with a 71.75 stroke average. Brian Garrett (72.93) is second followed by fellow starters Alex Heffner(73.67), Alex Ross (74.93) and Cayton Tribus (76.53).

Ross, the 2018 A-10 Rookie of the Year and All-Region performer from a year ago, enters his final A-10 Championship with eight career Top-5 finishes and 11 Top-10 showings in 33 events.

As a team, Davidson has a 293.00 stroke average through five spring tournaments, highlighted by a season-low 274 (-14) in its last round.
