Community Invited to Virtual Public Input Session

Davidson Town Hall

Virtual Public Input Session May 17, 2021, 6:00pm

The Town of Davidson invites members of the community to attend a virtual public input session related to the potential non-discrimination ordinance. On Monday, May 17, at 6:00pm, Davidson’s Housing and Equity Director Eugene Bradley, Town Attorney Mary Ann Swan, and a volunteer representative of the Affordable Housing and Equity Advisory Board will present information about the suggested ordinance and respond to a few frequently asked questions and repeatedly heard comments provided during the initial public engagement.

Immediately following their presentation, members of the community will be invited to provide public comment for three (3) minutes each. Please note there will only be 20 slots available for public comment at this meeting, and you must sign up for a slot in advance by emailing [email protected]. Public comment slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be strictly limited only to those who have signed up and to three minutes per individual.

Town staff and the advisory board representative will not be answering questions in real time at the meeting; public comments will be collected and submitted to the Affordable Housing and Equity Board for analysis, and ultimately reported to the Davidson Board of Commissioners for their review.

Those who are unable to attend the virtual meeting, do not obtain one of the limited number of public comment slots, or simply wish to provide feedback in writing are free to email [email protected] with their input. Please submit all comments by Tuesday, May 18 at 5pm so they may be reviewed and included in the public input report.
