by | May 20, 2021

The Wildcats played Auburn in the 2019 Veterans Class – another preseason opportunity.

Coming off its 24th postseason berth in program history, Davidson will take part in the 2021 Myrtle Beach Invitational, which will be played Nov. 18, 19 and 21 at the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina University.

In addition to the Wildcats, the eight-team field will include East Carolina (American), Indiana State (Missouri Valley), New Mexico State (Western Athletic), Oklahoma (Big 12), Old Dominion (Conference USA), Penn (Ivy) and Utah State (Mountain West).

Owned and operated by ESPN Events, the Myrtle Beach Invitational tipped for the first time in 2018 with UCF claiming the inaugural tournament.

The bracket along with game times and channel listings will be announced at a later date.

Davidson finished the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign 13-9 overall and third in the Atlantic 10 standings with a 7-4 conference mark.

This marks the sixth consecutive season the Wildcats will play in one of ESPN’s MTEs (multi-team event).
