Access2Success: 2021 Summer of Success
OUR SUMMER PROGRAMS ARE NEAR
For the second year in a row, A2S will be unable to send a US team to work with our Nigerian staff to implement our summer programs due to Covid-19. These programs will serve over 5,000 youth through our Basketball and Empowerment Camps, VBS (Vacation Bible School), the Entrepreneur Incubator Pitch Competition, and a local IDP camp (Internally Displaced People). However, our staff in Nigeria is incredible and will implement these programs and the benefits to all these youth will continue. Normally we would have our US team bring supplies with them when they travel. We have already shipped some, but the cost for sending it all is more than we normally budget. However, we are excited to provide opportunities and to make this a summer of success.
This year, we have received a record-breaking number of supplies, and these supplies must make it to Nigeria for our programs. We have over 500 pairs of streamlined, basketball-specific shoes, thousands of additional essentials, footwear, clothing, and materials that will have a priceless impact on the lives of the community we serve. They need your help to ensure their arrival in time for our summer programs.
