If June is Here, July’s Not Far Behind!
July means beach vacations, lazy summer afternoons, time on the lake, and Fourth of July picnics. And this year, live and in person, mostly maskless, we can be with our family and friends.
But July also means that New of Davidson is halfway through our fundraising year, and it may be time for you to make a gift to our small but fierce nonprofit. With an annual goal of $5,000, we are not even 20 percent of the way there. So, we’re dropping into the News to ask for your support again this year, or maybe for the first time ever.
For more than 12 months, we shared the downright hardships of the pandemic, but we’re all breathing more easily—literally—now that life is opening up again. But during those long months of lockdown, we hope you
- checked in with NoD to learn about events online, or
- attended a virtual religious service,
- listened to a virtual concert,
- watched an online lecture,
- enjoyed an online art exhibition,
- attended an online ceremony ,
- saw an online play,
…or took advantage of any of the ways News of Davidson helped us stay connected while we were staying safe.
If you learned about these events or simply enjoyed reading our news and stories during the last six months of 2021, please consider supporting our team during the next six months of 2021. These are days and weeks when we hope to actually see you, in person at the events you’ll still hear about — at News of Davidson!
News of Davidson is your nonprofit source for community news and events. Please support us!
