Davidson Police Need Your Help
Seeking Information & Witnesses Regarding Pedestrian Fatality
The Davidson Police Department is continuing the investigation of the pedestrian fatality that occurred this afternoon, June 17, at the corner of North Main Street and Chairman Blake Lane in downtown Davidson.
A 64-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she suffered when struck by a vehicle at approximately 1:02 p.m. Accident reconstruction officers from Davidson Police Department and North Carolina State Highway Patrol conducted the initial investigation. Main Street from Jackson Street to Concord Road was closed for more than three hours as they did their work.
