Music of India Coming to Davidson
Jasmine Lloyd (vocal), James Brock (percussion) and Eric Lovell (sitar) are bringing music of India to the town of Davidson again in the form of fusing the sound with Jazz, Pop, Swing and Rhythm and Blues.
They are playing at Masala Mastee Indian Restaurant in Davidson on Friday July 9 and Friday July 23, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. both evenings.
In addition, James Brock will be playing Nagara Drums in the square in front of the library from 3:00-5:30 both afternoons, and will have two sets so both children and adults can play along and learn the language of the rhythm of India. This is free of charge.
