Davidson Transitioning to Digital and Single-Sport Ticketing

by | Jul 13, 2021

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson Athletics announced several changes to its ticket policies beginning this fall.

Digital Tickets
Davidson will transition to digital, mobile-first ticketing beginning this fall. On gamedays, fans will gain entry into venues by utilizing digital tickets from their mobile device, eliminating the need for a printed, physical ticket. The move to digital ticketing provides the safest and most convenient option for access into all of Davidson’s ticketed facilities. Exceptions will be made for fans who do not have access to a mobile ticketing-friendly device and require a traditional, printed option.

“Davidson Athletics is constantly seeking ways to innovate and improve the Wildcat fan experience,” commented Director of Athletics Chris Clunie. “We believe that this transition to digital ticketing will not only enhance the gameday experience but also serve as a great way to welcome back the community to our arenas and stadiums.”

More details, including tutorials and instructions, will be sent throughout the summer. Please look for emails containing information and directions on how to access and use digital tickets. Information can also be accessed quickly and easily by visiting davidsonwildcats.com/digitaltickets.

Single-Sport Season Tickets
Davidson will offer each sport’s season ticket as a la carte pricing rather than a universal ticket model, catering to fans’ individual interests rather than relying on a Universal Ticket model. Each fan will receive 10 priority points for each sport and previous Universal Ticket holders will maintain their 30-point bonus as long as the account remains active.

Season tickets for Football and Men’s Soccer went on sale July 13 and Men’s and Women’s Basketball tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, August 3.
