Hello DFM Shoppers,

Farmers markets are an extension of our community. A place to gather with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate our local farmers and purveyors. On the heels of National Farmers Market Week, I want us to continue celebrating DFM year-round.

On Saturdays, we spend a portion of our time sharing our shoppers’ social media posts: the items they just purchased, the flowers displayed in their homes, families enjoying their Saturday morning, and the foods prepared with the ingredients purchased. We want to make a greater effort to showcase these moments through DFM’s social media. Please tag and share your day at DFM on Instagram, and we will repost and/or feature in the coming week.

Additionally, we love sharing recipes we find but truly we want to share the recipes you’re using or creating at home with the products you found at DFM. If you have a recipe you’d like to share, please email them to me. We want to highlight these in our newsletters and social media for everyone to enjoy.

The market is nothing without its community and we want to celebrate you too!

Hard to believe but fall is just around the corner! You’ll notice this from the slow change in produce: butternut and acorn squash, figs, and orange and burgundy flowers. Keep an eye out for your favorite fall items!
