The the Cake Race is Back! Times Two!
The Cake Race is Back! 2019 was the last time the race was held. COVID cancelled the event last year.
Calling all bakers! This beloved Davidson College tradition will take place on Wednesday, August 25, for all first-years and sophomores, who missed out last year due to the pandemic. Please consider making or buying a cake (or two) and delivering them to the Vance Athletic Center on August 25 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.Questions? Contact Sue Daschner at [email protected].
Little did we know that when we covered the 2019 Cake Race, and shared the College’s April Fool’s joke that COVID would actually prevent the race from taking place in 2020. Read that story here.
