Can You Help Loaves and Fishes Pantry at Ada Jenkins?

Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry provides a week’s worth of nutritionally balanced groceries to individuals and families experiencing a short-term crisis through a network of 35 emergency food pantries located throughout Mecklenburg County.  Their pantry is located at the Ada Jenkins Center.

Summer has brought a wide variety of fresh produce from the Davidson Community Garden and a few local partners. This has met all of our fresh food needs. We have had veggies sprouting up everywhere and have enjoyed sharing as much fresh food as possible.

The pantry currently needs canned whole tomatoes, canned diced tomatoes, oatmeal, salad dressings, ground coffee, condiments, and gluten free snacks/crackers for the food pantry.

These items can be dropped off on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-11 AM at the back entrance of Ada Jenkins with the small parking lot and glass entry doors at Mock Circle and Gamble St.

We are grateful for the continued support of our local community!

Food Pantry Coordinator
