Prof. Bailey explained, “I hope to give people a glimpse of how the subject is really discussed in a classroom, rather than just the image we get from folks who are angry at school board meetings and other public forums.”

Bailey is a 1995 Davidson graduate now serving as its James K. Batten for Public Policy Professor. He  has written two books, “My Brother Moochie” and “Why Didn’t We Riot? A Black Man in Trumpland.”

The talk will be broadcast on  Zoom as well as live. The address for the Zoom link is https://proudblacksoutherner1972.substack.com/p/wokeness-in-the-wild-observations
