Organ at Davidson Season Continues
The Organ Studio from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts will present the second concert of the season for Organ at Davidson on October 25th at 7:30 p.m. The 2021-2022 season, coined “The Year of the Student,” features college and high school students playing the Wicks organ at Davidson College Presbyterian Church, 100 N. Main Street, Davidson.
The UNCSA Organ Studio is led by Dr. Timothy Olsen. The student recital will include the Finale from Widor’s Sixth Symphony, Franck’s Prelude, Fugue and Variation, and Vierne’s Naïades.
Organ at Davidson concerts are free and are only supported by donations. The recitals will be open to the public with social distancing requirements. Check www.organatdavidson.com for updates.
