Mennenga and Lee Pace Davidson in Red/Black Scrimmage

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Sam Mennenga scored a game-high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting and Hyunjung Lee added 12 points to lead the Black Team to a 36-19 victory over the Red Team in Davidson’s annual intrasquad scrimmage Saturday afternoon.

Mennenga, a redshirt sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand, also pulled down 7 rebounds (5 offensive) in the 20-minute contest for the Black Team, which drilled 6-of-13 from long range.

The Black Team raced out to a 10-0 lead and pushed the margin to as many as 13 on a Styrmir Thrastarson trey at the 11:50 mark.

Newcomers Foster Loyer and Chris Ford paced the Red Team with 7 points each.
