by | Nov 5, 2021

Thomas Athey ’24 (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics – PPE – and History Double Major) is the CEO & Co-Founder of Portfolio Kings which is an education trade group focused on options trading and cryptocurrency investing. Members pay a monthly subscription to have access to 2 courses, written guides, workshops, weekly and daily market analysis, Discord chat rooms, and all the trades and investments that we take.

Sandro Chumashvili ’24 (Economic Major) is the Founder and CEO of US-Georgia Wines.  Per Chumashvili, “Not many in the US are aware that the drink that many of us love so much, wine, originated in the small country of Georgia (located in Eastern Europe). For over 8,000 years, the Georgians have been refining this drink. They reached the point where they have more than 500 endemic types of grapes, and the traditional Georgian way of winemaking is recognized by UNESCO as an intangible heritage site due to its naturality and special care. US-Georgia Wines is going to introduce such a unique product to the American market and diversify the choice for the American consumer.”

Carson Crochet ’22 (German & Arab Studies Double Major, H. McKennie Goodpasture Scholar) is the Founder and CEO of CA’Buddy which provides care packages to patients undergoing cancer treatment while donating a portion of proceeds to research. The main component of the package is a small naked mole rat plush animal which is the CA’Buddy, aka “cancer buddy.” Naked mole rats are resilient, hairless, cancer-resistant critters that are the perfect platform for discussing a life changing diagnosis, raising awareness for cancer research, and being the perfect little treatment buddy.
