Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Jay Hurt Hub

by | Nov 15, 2021

The Hurt Hub is located in an award winning re-purposed former mill located on Delburg Street.

The Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s mission of facilitating access and exposure to innovation and entrepreneurship takes many forms. From offering mentorship, experiential learning opportunities, educational programming, access to capital and inclusive community coworking – there’s no shortage of ways that students and the community can engage with us.

However, most of these opportunities are only possible because of generous philanthropic support. We owe a great debt of gratitude to those who have supported us in the past, and we know there is even more opportunity to expand in the future.
We’re excited to announce today that we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to support our mission. We’re also excited to tell you that Ed Van Deman ’69 is committing $100,000 to the Hurt Hub@Davidson and challenging the community to provide additional support from at least 100 new donors!

Over the coming weeks, we look forward to sharing some stories with you about our great students, alumni and programs. We hope you’ll see the incredible work that goes on here every day and support the growth of the Hurt Hub@Davidson by making a gift! Thank you, and we look forward to sharing more with you in the coming days!
