Meet DavidsonLearns and Register for Winter/Spring Courses

by | Nov 30, 2021

Our region’s lifelong learning organization is re-introducing itself with a brief new video—Meet DavidsonLearnsand invites you to review its Winter/Spring course list, which is rich with offerings to warm your brain during the new year.

If you are unfamiliar with DavidsonLearns, a brief review: DavidsonLearns offers both in-person and online courses in history, literature, economics, international affairs, health, and more. Homework is light (reading in some courses) to nonexistent, and there are no tests!

It might not be easy to limit the number of courses you want to take for Winter/Spring, with a curriculum that includes American Music, Contemporary French Cinema, and Creating Musicals. Or you could study global trade, Shakespeare’s King Lear, genealogy, or poetry, as well as explore healthcare in America and what philosophers consider a “good life”— and more.

Read about these offerings and others, and register for your choices beginning at 10 a.m. on December 6.

A word about safety: DavidsonLearns offers courses both in person and online. Students in in-person courses are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. You do not need to be vaccinated to attend an online course, which meets as a video conference on a Zoom platform.
