DAVIDSON, N.C. – Five members of the Davidson football team have been named to the All-Pioneer Football League First Team, announced by the conference Tuesday. Two Wildcats were named to the All-PFL Second Team and 10 earned Honorable Mention Recognition.

“I am excited for our players that were recognized on one of the All PFL teams and would like to congratulate them, they are each so deserving,” head coach Scott Abell said. “I also want to congratulate their teammates who may not have been recognized, but had huge impactful season and careers for our Davidson Football program.”

The five Wildcats who headline the first team are seniors FB Coy Williams, TE Jackson Sherrard, OL Cole Foley, OL Khalil Miller and sophomore DL Jonathan Hammond. Williams and Miller have made the first team for the second time in 2021 after earning a nod following the spring season. Hammond, who was the PFL Defensive Freshman of the Year last season, made the move from second to first team in the fall.
