Wildcats Post 96 Percent GSR in Latest NCAA Check

by | Dec 3, 2021

The latest NCAA Graduating Success Rate (GSR) Report was released Thursday, and Davidson Athletics again ranks near the top with a GSR of 96 percent.

This GSR Report is based on student-athletes who entered college between 2011 and 2014 and had a six-year window to graduate.

Davidson’s mark ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and well above the national average (90).

In all, 19 Wildcat teams recorded 100 percent graduation rates in that period, the most of any program in the A-10.

Those Davidson teams with perfect marks included baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s indoor/outdoor track and field and volleyball.

The A-10 boasts a GSR of 94 percent, including 112 teams with 100 percent standards.

The GSR metric was developed by the NCAA to more accurately measure graduation rates of student-athletes.
