Brajkovic Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Highlighted by a 22-point effort in Davidson’s win over No. 10/11 Alabama, Luka Brajkovic has been named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
For the week, Brajkovic averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, while shooting 65 percent from the floor and 60 percent behind the 3-point line.
In addition to scoring 22 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in the Wildcats’ win over the Crimson Tide, Brajkovic finished 10-of-16 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers to go along with 3 assists a block and steal.
Through 12 contests, Brajkovic is averaging 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per game.
Riding a nine-game winning streak, the Wildcats enter Thursday’s league opener with a 10-2 overall record.
