DCPC Social Justice Committee Hosts “Conversations About Gun Violence”

Davidson College Presbyterian Church’s Social Justice Committee is hosting Conversations about Gun Violence on Sunday, January 23 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Congregation House, located at 218 Concord Road. All in-person attendees will be required to wear a mask.

This will be a hybrid gathering so that you can join virtually if you prefer. To do so, please go to the Davidson College Presbyterian Church YouTube Channel a few minutes before 2 pm and look for the Livestream. The video from the event will continue to be available on the DCPC YouTube channel after the event concludes. 

Special guests for this panel discussion will be: 

  • Natasha Marcus, N.C. State Senator, District 41  
  • Elyse Dashew, Chair and Member at-large of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) Board of Education 
  • Chief Penny Dunn, Police Chief of Davidson Police Department
  • Patrick Smith, Assistant Superintendent of Communications for CMS
