Gisolfi-McCready Earns First A-10 Weekly Track and Field Accolade

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Freshman Aleia Gisolfi-McCready has been named the Atlantic 10 Women’s Rookie Performer of the Week, announced by the conference Tuesday.
The Lexington, Mass. native won the 500-meter run at the Patriot Games over the weekend. It was her second career win this season and ran a personal best of 1:16.48. Her first career win was the 400m at the JDL Fast is Flat Invitational earlier in January.
The women’s track performer of the week is Rachel Helbling of Richmond and the women’s field performer of the week is Hannah Robertson from George Mason.
