Davidson Fire Department Wants Your Feedback!
Join us on Wed., March 9, 6:30p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall
The Davidson Fire Department and AP Triton are conducting a public input session on Wednesday, March 9, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the board room at Davidson Town Hall. Community members will be asked to share their thoughts and opinions of the fire department and the services they provide.
To assist us in gauging attendance, those interested are asked to sign up for the input session here. This is a fantastic opportunity for AP Triton to gather input that will be used to help identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Davidson Fire Department and also provide a platform for transparent discussion regarding the department’s operations. Refreshments will be provided for attendees.
Can’t attend? The Davidson Fire Department would still like to gather your feedback! You can click the survey button below and respond to a few questions, as well as offer suggestions as to what might make the department better. It will only take a few minutes.
The Davidson Fire Department hired AP Triton to conduct a Community Risk Assessment (CRA) and Standards of Cover regarding operations of the department and overall risks within the community. The CRA looks at the overall community and identifies risks associated within the community for which the fire department needs to be prepared. The CRA also looks at department operations and identifies strengths and weaknesses in dealing with these associated risks. The Standards of Cover looks internally at the fire department and examines areas such as management, human resources, finances, capital equipment (i.e. stations, apparatus, equipment), internal policies, tactical procedures, guidelines, procedures, and operational objectives. This wholistic look at the department allows for better strategic planning while ensuring that the department is providing the best service capability to the residents and businesses of Davidson.
