In Memoriam: Edith Anne Hobart Cashion
Edith Hobart Cashion, 91, of Davidson passed away February 22 in Denver, North Carolina. She was born in Charlotte on February 1, 1933 to the late Frank Donald Hobart and Helen Hobart. She was a member of Davidson College Presbyterian Church, Davidson Garden Club, Davidson Book Club, and several ladies’ Bridge Clubs. She also volunteered at The Pines in Davidson.
Edith was fond of spending time with her family. She also enjoyed entertaining and socializing with her many friends and loved her numerous pets throughout the years.
She is survived by her son Robert Douglas Cashion and daughter-in-law Deanna Carpenter Cashion, grandson Robert Titus Cashion, brother John D. Hobart and his spouse Frances A. Hobart of Smithfield, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband Robert June Cashion.
