Community Shred Event – April 9

by | Mar 10, 2022

Records Reduction is one of the companies that provides local on-site document shredding.

It’s back! On Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Cornelius Police Department and Davidson Police Department will host a Community Document Shredding Event in the student parking lot of William A. Hough High School, 12420 Bailey Road. The Document Shredding Event is FREE to the community. Due to heavy volume, the event may end prior to 12:00 p.m. due to truck capacity, equipment failure, bad weather or any other unforeseen event. We ask that everyone remain in their cars when arriving to the event. Officers will be out assisting with directions.

There will be a 4 box maximum per resident or business. Boxes are to not exceed a normal file box size. The public is encouraged to bring documents such as obsolete tax documents, financial statements, cancelled checks, insurance documents, business records or any records that they want safely destroyed to this event. There is no need to remove clips, staples, or binders from these documents. Please do not bring items that can be recycled or trash, examples are junk mail, newspapers, or magazines
