This Week at DFM: April 16

by | Apr 14, 2022

DFM Shoppers,

The weather forecast for this Saturday is promised to be a warm one! It will be a perfect day to shop for your next week’s meals. You may be celebrating Easter with a yummy brunch or maybe planning a special picnic with loved ones!  Whatever the case may be, our vendors will have a variety of spring items: asparagus, strawberries, flowers, delicious seasonal baked goods and a variety of prepared foods. And as the weather continues to warm up, you may consider finding those proteins perfect for grilling!

Around this time of year, we like to remind our shoppers of a few things happening at the DFM. Several vendors offer pre-order options. You will notice those vendors in the vendor weekly offerings (further down in the newsletter) denoted by a PO next to their name. This is a great option to purchase limited items that run out quickly in the first hour of the market.  It also helps our vendors plan their market day, bringing plenty of premium products for all!  Another reminder is that most weekends the DFM will have a special event or two.  This weekend, the DFM is hosting a free pre-market yoga class at 8 am.  See details about the class listed below. Finally, as always I remind you to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have about the Davidson Farmers Market. We want you to consider the Davidson Farmers Market part of your community. Your input is essential to its integrity.
