RICHMOND, Va. – Davidson women’s track & field set a new school record in the outdoor 4×400 relay at the Atlantic 10 Championships on Sunday, hosted by VCU at the Sports Backers Stadium. The relay team of Rachel Horowitz, Anna Davis, Aleia Gisolfi-McCready and Bianca Nolde-Lopez broke the record set last season by two seconds with their time of 3:44.10 to place second in the relay.

That squad was the first of the two women’s track and field team to finish second. The 4×800 team of Breila Fuller, Kelsey Troutman, Maliyah Paynter and Liz Simms also placed second. The ‘Cats had plenty of other podium appearances including Davis and Gisolfi-McCready for the 400m hurdles.

Overall, the ‘Cats placed seventh with 63 points.
