La Escuelita Graduation, 2022

On the morning of May 25, thirteen three-year-olds sang “Una Casita” and “Baby Bumblebee” to proud parents. Everyone had popsicles on the patio and bid a tearful goodbye until September. On May 26, “Pomp and Circumstance” sounded on speakers, and fifteen four-year-olds began a procession wearing royal blue gowns and caps with yellow tassels. The graduates sang “It’s Time for Me to Go” and blew kisses to the emotional crowd of 80 or so family members and friends. The children received their diplomas and wriggled in anticipation for the cap toss! Teachers were honored with flowers. Then it was fiesta time with graduation cupcakes. These children are soaring into kindergarten.

What a joyful and gratifying year for La Escuelita Bilingual Preschool!

One parent, Maria, said, “I feel so fortunate that my daughter had this extraordinary opportunity; I wish there could be a La Escuelita Kindergarten.”
