Davidson Residents Invited to Community Dinner

by | Aug 31, 2022

Pre-COVID, one of the Community Dinners was held at Roosevelt Wilson Park.

The Town of Davidson invites all residents to a community dinner on Thursday, September 22 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at historic Beaver Dam, located at 19600 Davidson-Concord Road.

Food and beverages will be provided, including BBQ, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, cookies, brownies, tea, and water. There will be tables and chairs set up to accommodate 300 people as well as a tent in case of inclement weather.

The community dinner is free and open to all Davidson residents; however, sign-ups are appreciated! To register, please complete this brief online form.

“I am a firm believer in the fellowship of breaking bread together – it’s a great peace maker and relationship builder,” said Mayor Rusty Knox. “I hope we have a great turnout!”

There is limited parking on site at Beaver Dam, but attendees can use the public soccer parking lot at River Run as an overflow area. Residents are encouraged to walk and ride their bikes!
