La Escuelita Bilingual Preschool is starting its ninth year! We serve Spanish-speaking disadvantaged families whose children would not otherwise benefit from high-quality preschool before attending public kindergarten. The children thrive in this loving bilingual environment. They develop a growing attention span, learn classroom behavior, listen to stories, attend music class, and do lots of science experiments!

We believe our dual-language school is the most comfortable transition to kindergarten. The student-teacher ratios is low, and our approach is gentle and kind. We create a love for learning that truly benefits children for the rest of their schooling. We believe children learn by doing and learn by playing. Our carefully planned physical environment includes large, well-supplied classrooms and an attractive natural outdoor environment with gardens and a playground.

Studies show that without proper preparation in school, many Hispanic children fall behind. At La Escuelita Bilingual Preschool, we help promote a child’s desire to learn and gain self-confidence, little by little, to achieve success in the future—all while having fun! Donors help make our high-quality program affordable for all. Local kindergarten teachers tell us our graduates are beautifully prepared in every way and excel in, rather than hinder, the class.
