Davidson Community Players Stages “Murder on the Orient Express”

DCP’S Murder on the Orient Express Takes Us on a Fast-Paced Thrill Ride This Fall

Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express adapted by Ken Ludwig starts boarding on the Davidson Community Player’s stage beginning September 22. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer in case he or she decides to strike again.

“Patrons love a good mystery and this is one of mystery-great Agatha Christie’s best,” said DCP Executive Director Matt Merrell. “Enjoy live theater in the comfort of the intimate Armour Street theater for this wonderful whodunit.”

Performances will be offered September 22 thru October 9, 2022 at the Armour Street Theatre in Davidson. Reserved tickets start at $15 and can be purchased at www.DavidsonCommunityPlayers.org or by calling the box office at 704-892-7953.
