Remembering Tony Abbott at Davidson Library
Davidson College Professor Tony Abbott was a mentor and inspiration to many. A Pulitzer Prize nominated poet and author of works of fiction and literary criticism; Tony embraced a continued love of learning and teaching through the many classes he offered through Davidson Learns and Learning In Retirement at The Pines.
Join us on Monday, October 3rd in person as we remember Tony by listening to poets and authors from near and far as they read a selection of Tony’s poems and their own personal works inspired by Tony.
There will be two sessions – one at 1:30 p.m. and another at 6:00 p.m.. Space is limited to 25 attendees per session.
