Gifts are coming to News of Davidson!

Maybe it’s the slight chill in the air or the return of pumpkin spice. Or perhaps it’s the advent of fall colors, now sweeping down from the mountains of western North Carolina.

Or—and we really hope it is—a welcome, unbidden wave of appreciation for the News of Davidson?

Ours is not to reason why unexpected support has been flowing through our donor portal. No. Ours is to say yippee! And to offer a sincere, repeated thank-you to our generous readers who are giving even before our traditional, holiday reminder that we are a small non-profit enterprise, hoping to continue publishing news and information about Davidson and our region for yet another year.

Later this fall we’ll be asking others for gifts toward meeting our annual budget of $5,000. But for now: Yippee! And thank you, so very much.
