Town Looking for Service Organizations to Help with Leaf Collection

by | Oct 13, 2022

As the seasons change and trees begin their annual leaf shedding, the Town of Davidson is looking for service organizations to help some of the community’s older and disabled members. Davidson is fortunate to have many local service organizations, and some may be ready and willing to provide leaf raking and collecting for those in their community. Groups interested in being part of the effort are asked to please complete the contact form here.

While this is not a town effort, the Town of Davidson is helping to facilitate the connection between those who want to serve and those who need assistance. Once the town has received submissions from volunteer organizations, that information will be housed at www.townofdavidson.org/leafcollection. Those needing assistance with these specific tasks can access the information and be in touch directly with an organization.

For all residents, Waste Pro, Davidson’s contractor, will pick bagged leaves up along with garbage and recycling on usual collection days. Those interested in more information can visit: www.townofdavidson.org/yardwaste

If you have any questions, please contact Summer Allen in the Davidson Parks and Recreation office at [email protected]
