Davidson Presbyterian Celebrates 128th Homecoming

by | Oct 17, 2022

The Davidson Presbyterian Church parking lot was filled to overflowing last Sunday as they celebrated the church’s 128th Homecoming.

The congregation of Davidson Presbyterian Church celebrated the church’s 128th anniversary last week. The theme was “We Gonna Make It.”

Revival worship services were held on Monday and Tuesday nights – led by the Rev. Gwendolyn Pearson. On Sunday the congregation held a special Homecoming worship service. The Rev. Gloria Bolden delivered the morning worship message. Sunday morning’s service was the first time in more than 2 years that the church’s choir returned to provide music for the congregation.

That service was followed by a home-cooked, sit-down dinner in the education building. Members of the church brought covered dishes, making enough to share with others.

One member of the congregation described the week as being filled with fellowship and fun – topped off with food. See more photos from the homecoming lunch.
