Davidson Community Players’ The Connie Company Finishes its 2022 Season with the Classic Disney Tale, “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.”

The Davidson Community Players is thrilled to close out their youth season with “Beauty and the Beast JR” at the Armour Street Theatre in Davidson. The award-winning animated film and stage play come to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale. Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards and on the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast JR” is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance.

“This promises to be a powerful show filled with all the wonderful music audiences have come to love,” said DCP’s Education Director Katie Mullis. “Featuring a cast of local youth actors, the production will surely delight families and theater lovers of all ages from throughout the Lake Norman region.”

Performances will take place for two weekends, November 4-13, at the Armour Street Theatre, 307 Armour Street, Davidson, North Carolina. Tickets are general admission seating for $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Recommended for all ages, though guests under two are discouraged. Tickets can be purchased online or at 704-892-7953.
