We are grateful for the deeply caring response of our Davidson community to the crisis in Ukraine. Many of you have come to our D4U events and social gatherings, contributed generously to relief efforts in Ukraine, and offered your time, skills, and financial support to help Ukrainian refugees in Davidson.

And many of you have asked to receive information about our activities and how you can help. We look forward to keeping you frequently informed with our D4U Update. We begin this first issue by letting you know a little about D4U’s mission, a snapshot of the refugee families in our area, volunteer opportunities, donation information, and some recent activities.
