Merry Main Street Trike Race is Back – Dec. 3, 3:00 p.m.
At the conclusion of the parade, enjoy the second Merry Main Street Tricycle Race in which four-person trike teams sponsored by Davidson businesses race through an obstacle course down Main Street.
The race was the idea of Karen Toney – manager of Ben & Jerry’s. The 2022 recipient of the G. Jackson Burney Community Service Award recalled that she called Davidson Economic Development Kim Fleming, and the result was last year’s inaugural event.
Perhaps not a surprise that the Ben & Jerry’s team won the inaugural trike race last year.
