December is an exciting month for the Davidson Housing Coalition (DHC), beginning with the much-anticipated luminaries that light our town and surrounding towns. In addition to being a happy fundraiser for DHC, on this night the towns have a special, peaceful glow that comes only from the luminaries.

If you would like to light your house and yard with luminaries and to learn more or donate online, visit our website. You can complete the donation form by Friday, December 16. Your captains will be notified and will contact you to coordinate pickup from their porch or delivery to your home.

Your donations to Davidson Housing Coalition support our work to:

• Preserve and create local affordable housing opportunities
• Meet critical home repair needs of low-income homeowners
• Empower people with financial skills, budgeting, and home-buyer education
• Provide financial hardship assistance
