Main Street – Business and Restaurant News for 2023
Davidson Ice House closed its doors on Saturday – stay tuned for what comes next.
As we start 2023, some of our local businesses and restaurants have “CLOSED” signs posted on their doors. Here’s the news we have compiled.
The Village Store – closed from January 1 – 15 for inventory and building maintenance.

Flatiron Restaurant – closed for two weeks for “cosmetic renovations.”
Davidson Ice House – probably the most significant news is at DIH. Owner and chef Jenny Brule recently let her friends and customers know the following: “Davidson Ice House, as we know it, will close New Years Eve at 3 p.m. — But I’m not going anywhere! I’ve partnered with Robert Maynard and we’re putting together a super fun concept that will reopen after renovations, SOON!”
On December 31st, Brule posted on social media “this was a sentimental day. I was honored that so many friends and customers (who’ve become friends) came in to say ‘goodbye’ to Davidson Ice House and welcome in the new incarnation— Happy New Year to all!”
