37th Davidson Horticulture Symposium: March 7

Davidson artist Robin Wilgus has continued the tradition of creating a painting for the symposium.

The Dimensions of a Garden: An Exploration of Style and Purpose is the theme of the 37th Davidson Horticultural Symposium presented by the Davidson Garden Club.

This year we return to the very basic tenets of gardening: What purpose does the garden hold for us? What style captures our imagination and speaks to our spirit? And most importantly, how can we combine our sense of beauty with the need to be good stewards of our environment? Join us as we find inspiration from the past and discover new ways to create gardens that are imaginative, fresh and support the natural world.

The all day event will take place Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Davidson College in the Knoblock Campus Center. This year we will be limited to 450 registrants, and we usually sell out by February 15th.  Online registration begins January 3rd on our website.  Below is a brief synopsis about the speakers and their presentations. Visit our website www.davidsonsymposium.org for more information.
