DavidsonLearns Spotlight Event: Climate Change: Media Stories vs Scientific Evidence

by | Feb 7, 2023

In our media-saturated age, we constantly hear either that climate change is an existential threat to humanity and our planet, or that climate change is no big deal (or even a hoax) and should just be ignored. However, we rarely hear the perspective of working, non-activist climate scientists who are trying to understand how and why climate change affects our lives. Dr. Scheff will provide that perspective and will consider climate change as a real and important issue. He will also report on progress (or lack thereof) in mitigating the effects of climate change.
