“Old Town Hall” Now Closed to the Public
216 S. Main Street is now the “old” Town Hall.
Monday, February 6, 2023, the former Town of Davidson Town Hall, located at 216 S. Main Street, closed to the public. Phase 2 of the Public Facilities Project includes up-fitting the Russell B. Knox Municipal Building for Public Safety.
Town of Davidson offices including Planning, Project Manager, Parks and Recreation, Housing and Equity, Communications, Economic Development, Finance, Human Resources and the Town Manager’s office have all moved into the new Town Hall and Community Center at 251 South Street.
Public access at the new Town Hall and Community Center is still limited until Phase 1 of the project is completed. Stay tuned for information regarding a ribbon cutting this spring. To contact town staff, please call 704-892-7591 or visit the Town of Davidson website.
Voters approved both building renovations in 2019, endorsing the $14 million dollar project in support of public facilities for public safety, town staff and programming, and community use.
