The new Town Hall & Community Center is located in the historic former Davidson School.

Tuesday night, the Davidson Town Board held their first meeting in the new Davidson Town Hall & Community Center located at 251 South Street.

The Mayor and Commissioners posed for a photo before Tuesday night’s first board meeting in the new Board Room.

During the meeting town officials said that residents are asked to “Save the Date” Saturday, March 25. The Town is planning a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility. Tours will be offered. The timeline is listed as 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

While the new building is open, the Town is awaiting the full Certificate of Occupancy from the county. In the interim, town staff members are working in their new offices and some meetings are being held in the renovated historic building.
