Openings in a Few DavidsonLearns Spring Classes

by | Mar 13, 2023

DavidsonLearns logoDavidsonLearns Spring courses begin in the next few weeks. Most are filled, but a few spots are still available.

Some seats are still open in Eric Hight’s course on the Civil War. Eric—probably DavidsonLearns’ most popular instructor—knows this history backwards and forwards, from Sumter to Appomattox, and he shares it through lectures both deeply informed and entertaining.

Mike Hogan offers another section of his highly popular course on the Panama Canal, charting how this early 20th-century moonshot came to be, literally changing the world’s geography by connecting two oceans. This fascinating and complicated history about the countries and characters that vied to make this miracle happen is topped off by an exciting virtual trip through the actual canal.

Nora Shepard’s course is for poets—a clinic, a workshop for both beginners and seasoned writers who want to grow in their work. Many followers of the beloved and late Tony Abbott’s poetry courses have found a home in Nora’s class.

You can find a few more open spots among our spring courses—check them out at DavidsonLearns website www.davidsonlearns.org and consider registering for one or two of the remaining seats in the Spring curriculum.
