by | Apr 3, 2023

Common Thread Theatre Collective – Barbecue

Common Thread Theatre Collective is a professional theatre company committed to presenting voices and stories that have been underrepresented in American mainstream theatre. A collaboration between Davidson College and North Carolina A&T State University, Common Thread offers thought-provoking theatre with diverse casts and themes, featuring the work of theatre professionals, as well as theatre faculty and students from each school.

Common Thread staged two productions on the campus of Davidson College last summer, and this summer, the company will return with two new shows exploring themes of redemption, family and the American Dream. Greg Horton and Karli Henderson, two of the founders of Common Thread, will talk about the company, what it has achieved, and what comes next.
