Golf’s Hall Finishes Tied for 1st at Bermuda Run

BERMUDA RUN, N.C. – Davidson’s Ethan Hall fired a five-under 67 Saturday to finish tied for first at the Battle of the Run.
The 18-hole / three-team event was scheduled after last weekend’s Stitch Intercollegiate hosted by NC State was postponed due to rain. Each school had six competitors with the top-five scores counting towards the team total.
Hall, a senior from Morehead City, N.C., made the turn in 34 before recording birdies on four of his last six holes to finish in a three-way tie atop the leaderboard with Andrew McLauchlan (Wake Forest) and Juan Callejo (Elon).
Brian Garrett (73), Joshua Stewart (75), Jackson Bode (76), Will Davis (77) and Price Miller (77) also competed for the Wildcats.
Wake Forest, which entered ranked 29th nationally, finished with the lowest team total at 19-under 341.
