Joe dosReis repeats as the Performer of the Week.

DAVIDSON, N.C. – A few days removed from yet another record-breaking performance, Joe dosReis was selected as the Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week. 

The Rhode Island native collected his first outdoor A-10 Performer of the Week award of the season and his third overall in 2023. dosReis bested his own school record in the 1,500-meters at the Virginia Challenge last Friday after posting a blazing time of 3:40.52. This broke his previous record by nearly two seconds and puts him atop the A-10 in the event. It also ranks top-30 in the NCAA East Preliminary rankings. 

dosReis is also the only male athlete in the conference to rank either first or second in more than one track event and currently holds Davidson’s best outdoor times in both the 800 and 1500-meters. He also holds the indoor school records in the 800, 1500, 3000, and mile. 

This is Davidson’s fifth A-10 weekly award of the season and second of the outdoor campaign.
