The Town of Davidson is thrilled to welcome Amber Levi as its new Human Resources Manager beginning May 1, 2023.

“We are so happy to welcome our new Human Resources Director Amber Levi to the Town of Davidson team,” said Town Manager Jamie Justice.

A lifelong North Carolinian, Amber was born and raised in Rowan County where she attended South Rowan High School. She went on to earn an Associate degree from Central Piedmont Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in HR Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

Amber comes to the Town of Davidson by way of the Town of Landis, North Carolina, where she held roles as both the Town Clerk and the Human Resource Officer, the latter position being the first ever for Landis as Amber established its first Human Resources Department. Her responsibilities included: payroll conversion and administration, workers’ compensation, a new employee onboarding process, revision of the recruitment process, benefit options, implementation of new town clerk software, and more.

Amber holds professional memberships in the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Organization of Municipal Personnel Officers (OMPO).

“I am thankful and excited for the opportunity to serve the citizens and employees of the Town of Davidson,” said Amber. “I look forward to working with the leadership team to prepare for the current and future needs of the town.”

During her downtime, she enjoys creative lettering, crafting, and spending time with her family and two rescue pups. Amber also enjoys volunteering for the Cabarrus County Visitors Bureau where she shares her favorite things about North Carolina with visitors.
