A Giving Spirit Foundation Believes that “May is for Moms!”

by | May 2, 2023

Consider honoring the mom in your life by supporting A Giving Spirit Foundation this May!

A Giving Spirit Foundation (AGSF) provides financial grants to local mothers struggling to support their family while undergoing treatment for debilitating illnesses. We’ve received a record number of grant requests in 2023 and we’re asking for your support.

Three ways you can support local moms in need: Registering for the Moms Run the World 5K Run/Walk on May 21st, purchasing an item for a “May Comfort Basket,” and donating to the “Help Moms in Need” fundraiser.

It’s easy! Just use the links below.

About A Giving Spirit Foundation (AGSF)

AGSF is a local 501c3 charitable organization founded in 2008 in memory of a Davidson mother who was diagnosed with ALS.  In an effort to help relieve the burden for local mothers undergoing medical treatment, AGSF has gifted nearly $500,000 in grants to pay for housing, utilities, childcare expenses, and medical bills, allowing them to focus on their families and health rather than finances.  AGSF is managed by an all-volunteer board with no paid staff and relies solely on fundraising and the generosity of loyal donors to provide for women in need. Additional information can be found at their website.
